How was he playing in league 1 last season, that's unbelievable!

Derwent, I also heard quite a bit of discontent. The thing is… a corner and a shot on target in stoppage time only - at any level - is poor. Never mind when you’ve thrown a shit load of money at a day and football match that your team failed to turn up for.

Irrespective of the division, I’d expect more than what was served up yesterday.

This was also a carbon copy of Oldham away only against a team that could put a goal away. Frustratingly incapable of creating even half a chance never mind a one on one or clear cut opening.

Third bottom or above will suffice this season - and DC will deliver that.

He needs backing in January which will probably require an fa cup run.
Staying up with this squad will be a bigger achievement than last season.
The 12th man should be enuf to keep us up.

Id say the actual game is about 20% of the day out. Especially after lockdown most fans wanna chillout after a weeks graft or get away from home and get on the drink all day with their pals.
Just a bonus if we win.
Probably anutha huge turnout at Bradford tuesday nite.
UTP n keep the faith.

Our day consisted of travelling to the match, watching the match and then travelling back home. I wish I had been half pissed cos they were the lucky ones, although one guy who could hardly walk straight was muttering "F.....g Shite". I hope the huge turnout tomorrow night don't get served with the same helping. If we can't create chances or test the keeper we might as well load the team with defenders and play for a point and hope to get a daft breakaway resulting in the ball going in off somebody's arse for a sneaky one nil.
Roll on January.

Another toothless away display. Fondop is not a footballer, and showed more aggression in the entire match after the final whistle by squaring up to their centre half. Salford were not particularly impressive but we lacked any sort of cutting edge to test them.

The fact i actually thought i saw a footballer in Fondop makes me question my own coaching abilities. Saddned to say im shocked at how unimpressive the useless fud has turned out. DC was due to polish another diamond, in Fondop i thought we may have seen some glimpses quality from a former L1 standard striker. His positioning as mentioned by DC is woeful and overall inability to do anything else is worrying for a so called professional footballer. Couldnt lace the boots of any former pools striker atm ! Guessing him and Cook are on 6 month short term deals. I have a feeling we are witnessing another Ofosu (least he bagged 1 by now last season). Sure to be the last we see of him too ! Bradford is going to be a hard game without Cook, Mols, Fela, Burey. Not too mention their Cook (Andy) has his shooting boots on also.

So you're the one to blame! Unless you've been 'coaching him on FIFA 22?

Even on FIFA 22 he's our second lowest rated striker, ahead of only Joe Grey.

Edit - Fondop actually has the same rating as Cullen and Olomola, however Olomola has higher potential. The best two strikers are Will Goodwin and Tyler Burey. The best player in the whole team is bizarrely Jono Mitchell.

goodwin and burey, two loanees, are like chalk and cheese to me. burey looks to have a good future in the game but cannot see what people see in goodwin apart from his work rate. might be on my own but he,d be actually well behind fondop in my striker choices.

Burey is very good, and I'd imagine good enough to be capable of scoring if he was fit. I haven't seen Cullen enough to have an opinion. The other three are very poor to say the least, albiet I still have hope for Fondop.

agree on fondop. at least he has some physical presence about him. think cullen is attempting to be the new williams. with what we have got on the books i,d go with fondop and fela upfront if everyone is fit. still waiting for the day when everyone is fully fit though which could be a long long wait.
