Newcastle will struggle to avoid success for much longer if the Saudi takeover finally goes through, as some papers are predicting will happen now that the dispute with Qatar over sports broadcasting has finally been settled.

Apparently the Saudis will be investing hundreds of millions of £ regenerating the North East as part of the deal, so the Tories will be leaning on the Premier League to pull its finger out and get the takeover approved a.s.a.p.

Would happily accept investment from the Saudi's in the northeast and anyone refusing based on principles is a moron.
