Loads of clouds just keep going anti clockwise around the UK.
Get the odd few hours and days now n again.
Not much chance of a Heatwave in England with Greenland melting.
Well that's my theory.
Probably more reliable than Mr Fish n Co.

I'm certain weather forecast is much, much more inaccurate now than it ever was 10 years ago. It genuinely seems made now to encourage clicks on articles, its either "super dangerous high winds" or "tropical Caribbean style heatwave". Yet the heatwave may as well be a candle and the super dangerous high wind a whoopie cushion!

I blame it on the British weather.

Someone told me every saturday at 3PM in Halifax the entire town is temporarily absorbed into a glacier, with the epicentre of it at the Shay.

h try keighley and haworth. its one inch colder there than the shay i can tell you. when i come up to the vic in winter it feels tropical after 11 years in the worth valley. something i thought i,d never say.

best way to find what the weather is like is to step outside the front door. wonder if anyone has spotted those big arrows in the sky they show on the weather charts. never spotted one yet but keep on looking.

at least i cannot be blamed for that anymore as i packed it in after being asked to fill in some bollocks on the net that would take me a hour to complete. after the first few questions i just gave up. all that for the sunday league and students on a wednesday afternoon. best practise rubbish. if i don,t know now i,d never know.

Remember in the 90’s when we we’re gonna burn baby burn because of the hole in the ozone layer..... we didn’t. The ozone sorted itself out.

pity that did not happen especially if the hole was directly above Stadium MK.

Ooh it didn't. I was in the Falklands in 2002 and the ozone hole was directly above us. We went in November for remeberance day at the height of the summer down South. Simon Weston said to me 'I'm not coming back here, ever time I do I get my face burnt'. True story.

Been a bad August so far.
Got more sunburnt in April.
No doubt the so called experts will be predicting one of those bullshit Indian Summers in Autumn which rarely comes off.

Who wants a fucking heatwave anyway?

Unless you're heavily arthritic or are that old you can no longer regulate your temperature, the heat is fucking shite.

Sweaty as fuck, shit sleep, shit to work in.

The sun can fuck right off.

Exactly, I’ve just rewired my bunker, installed new heating and the last thing I need is sunny weather. I just acquired an industrial paper shredder, hours of fun just tossing stuff in it, beats the telly anytime.

Aw naw..... my neighbours off for the week and been out since 7.30 this morning cutting paving slabs...... it’s like a North African sand storm as Smooth fm drones away in the background at builders volume playing Phil Collins, Smokey Robinson, Mariah......et fucking cetera ..... went out for the day, come in at quarter to eight and Smooth fm is still playing music to put you into a deep coma, the dust is still flying and the grinder must have overheated by now.... but no, like a little Barney Rubble he carry’s on.
Probably a bloody JCB coming tomrrow :angry-tappingfoot:

Drove over to Ribblehead viaduct today and also had a helicopter flying cement up to the top of the Buttertubs pass ... the further west you got the better it got... from seafret to glorious sunshine by Barnard Castle.
