900 away fans - that's probably more than we got in a full season in the National League.
At say an average price of £15 = £13,500 which after deducting the VAT = £11,250 for the club.
Another few quid for Raj to help keep Dave.

They have asked for more tickets aswell ? should open up the North west Corner area thats directly behind the Corner flag pub for games like this - i remember when over flow fans would spill out onto that section as technically it has a place for supporters to stand and has the railings still there too. Be hell on nowadays though with HSE and being so close to the actual pools fans in the NWC i can see why it would never happen.

Always plenty of spare capacity in the Town End.
Could easily accommodate n xtra 500 away fans in the South East Corner for these types of games

Just a metal fence n a few stewards needed.
Was the away section years ago when there was no roof on n never any bother.
Extra revenues to Save The Dave Fund required

afraid there is little pools can do about this due to ground regulations that are in place. a similar situation will come up when bradford come to town. hardly worth altering the ground for a couple of games a season.

Just need a bigger away end, though I'm not sure why we have only given Carlisle 900 when it holds 1033.

Room for stewards I'd imagine. Don't really think we need a bigger away end though, old traditional teams like Carlisle and Bradford are getting replaced by the likes of Forest Green, Crawley, Harrogate and Sutton.

thats the last thing pools need. that would end up being like accrinton who give half the ground away to away fans who travel in numbers. we could go really tin pot like harrogate or salford and change the away end to the home end for certain games.

Can remember the West Brom game a while back when ST holders from the TE had to use the Millhouse terrace to accommodate there demand.

It's a demand n supply industry.
A temporary solution that brings xtra revenue to the club while we wait for Project 25 to happen.
Which means larger league 1 away fans.

Just while we wait for the New Millhouse Master Plan 3000 All Seater new rink end stand to happen.

We gave PNE the entire mill house side back in 1996 near the end of the season.

Remember that Preston North End game. I was in the Town End and the crowd was 5000 + with 3,000 from Preston and they won 2-0 as I recall to be champions. Apologies if I'm wrong. Why not rip out the seats in The Rink End and get rid of the roof. Be just like the old days for us. Why do I see chew from Carlisle and Bradford in and out of The Vic?

There’s no chance at all that we would give them more tickets. They caused loads of chew the last few times that we played them and having them in the Town End or Mill House with a line of stewards would be a disaster. We’ll sell plenty of tickets ourselves anyway, even more so if we win today.

We'll more or less sell out anyway the way our home form is going so why give them any more tickets?

I remember in my first few seasons standing on the tarmac slop in the corner where the corner flag is when the rink end was too chokka to get in. Loads of lads shoving into us and nearly falling over when we scored or had a chance  those were the days

Heard a rumour on Saturday that the North West Corner lads are being moved to other parts of the ground for the game - not to give it to Carlisle fans (nobody would be that stupid) but to reduce the risk of crowd trouble during the game.

Moved where? The central sections of the Millhouse seats are already pretty full. Probably tripe, like 90% of other fan rumours.

if it is true then the game should have been brought forward to a 12.30 KO. something to think about for the bradford game and the piss heads from mansfield. the bigger problem may be a group of their fans turning up as neutrals that infaltrate our ends. bet we,ve all done that in the past. i,ve done it once already this season.
