About 650 if I recall. No doubt a few "neutrals" amongst the Barrow fans at Holker Street today.

Unlucky not to take a point. Barrow weren't all that, much tougher tests to come.

Two goals away from home, that's acceptable, fair enough

But three goals conceded from only three Barrow shots on target? Not good. And considering Crawley did not have a shot on target last week that's a goal conceded from every shot on target this League season.

I thought the attack would be the problem this year, not the defence

if you can,t defend you will not WIN games, No matter who you have up front.
Thats football i,m afraid.
Will DC give certain players another chance, Who Knows.
Gary Liddle got fouled for the first goal, But he was close to the touch line well up field.
So where was the left back.

When we caught Barrow out in similar posistions they just fouled us and gave a freekick away.
Which is exactly what Liddle should have done.

after the previous two games it was a surprise pools scored two goals never mind conceeding 3. both possibly one offs or a start of an up and down season. best thing to happen is the luxury of a full week off to sort things out and vring a couple of players in.

There's nine League 2 fixtures on Tuesday night but Pools aren't involved. Probably because Sutton are ground sharing at the minute?

know one anyway. in fact i came clean talking to a couple of barrow fans throught the game but they were of the older generation. worst thing was the sodding journey up there with every man and his sodding caravan out in force. should have known better at this time of the year though.

I still wonder, as i walked across the shoddy bit of land near the ground and into what can only be described as a pigeon shed. how the hell the Barrow ground passed its EFL status recognition ? Makes the Vic look like Wembley.

naming the ground after somewhere in las vagas seems OTT giving whats on offer. dunes hotel stadium my arse. actually do not mind the ground or the town itself really. plenty of those that knock the place will never have been there.

I like the ground in a way, its definitely very traditional and serves its purpose. I'm fine with ramshackle grounds but bad playing surfaces annoy me. Just like a certain ground in Wales that should be in the National League...hint hint...
