You'll get good odds on Killip. DC has already said he's playing Mitchell !

This cup is poorly supported. Be happy with 2-2500.

im going 1-0 Byrne with a towering header. Lovely ball in from Sterry.

i reckon 3 up top - introduce Burey to the front 3 with Mols and Fela.

No doubt they are deep fried in Scotland.
Killip to come off bench to score.

This thread is discriminating against burger pies which are far more practical.

Might have to ask Richard Money, I'm sure he knows a lot about Hartlepool based chippies.

As soon as they went down to 10 men I feared the worst that they would sit back with 10 men behind the ball and try and hit us on the counter attack....guess what happened.

On a brighter note I thought we had some good performers, I like the look of Daly, he reminded me a bit of James Brown and the goalkeeper looked quality, I'd make him no1.

We still look a bit light up front we are missing Armstrong and Oates for sure.

We did ourselves Proud. They showed their league one superiority from the off but we handled them well. Gives great confidence in that we have enough to sustain life back in L2.
Like DC said in the post match, we held the ball too long at times and were a little slow with passing. They closed us down well even with 10 men and their player Mcdonald shut us down most the time. (a player of his ilk would be great in our side tbh).

Burey started well and has a good reading of them game i thought. Last 15 he went missing but did enough. Probably would have scored had he not been brought down.

Daly looks really good too. I reckon once he gets used to our style of play with some minutes in the bag he will be one to keep maybe Shelton out the team ?

Mols didnt do enough - doesnt win headers. Couldnt really beat his man. not impressed

lots of quality crosses and decent possession around the box - just missing that clinical striker. We need a large nuisance in the box. Cullen and Fela arnt going to pull up trees im afraid.

I thought we were decent without any real threat up front. Their keeper wasn't really tested enough. But not too downhearted, last night was a free hit really.
