Midfielder, in on loan from Huddersfield Town. On the OS now. Sounds like another good prospect.

Really like the look of these two. Both come highly recommended. Just what we need, game changing forward players. Nice to see the lad is in for the long run and not just a few months. Hoping now for a GK and possibly another actual Striker who can hold up play and be a right pest

Johnathan Mitchell recently released by Derby might be an option in goal

More on Matty from a Huddersfield perspective:

https://www.htafc.com/news/2021/august/ ... ol-united/

It's a full season loan (with an optional recall in January 2022). This could have the same impact as the Lewis Cass signing last season - except he's an attacking midfielder!
Really looking forward to seeing him and Tyler Burey in action.

think the defence and midfield are more or less sorted now. as you say a keeper and a striker are the two positions left. average keepers are two a penny as we know its finding that striker that could be our problem. there again are plenty of parkhouses around but few who could make a big difference.

Mate of mine is a Terriers fan and he said a promising player who needs some man's football. He is a product of their academy and his view that it will be good for pools and the player.

Not rated by Northampton fans at all, but that could be cobblers.

Mitchell unfortunately doesnt excite me. Doesnt come with the highest of great references. Still think there is a more experienced GK incoming on loan.
Shame we didnt see another striker come in before todays game but i think by the sounds of things, DC has the iron in the fire with one or two forward players. Fingers crossed ones messi
