I think it’s crucial that we hang on to 4th place because of the home draw.

If Pools can't get at least a point on Saturday the whole season will have been a waste of time. Prefer to think about us winning and Stockport getting beat at Yeovil.

sorry but i wish we had finished 6th or 7th to avoid any more home games this season. won the last three away, drew the last 3 at home. thats enough for me plus never seen a good 90 minute home performance all season.

we going to be at home regardless for our first playoff game, wether finishing 3rd, 4th or 5th

finishing 3rd just means we have home game to get to playoff final instead of an away game after the initial home game.

If we don't finish 3rd then it's torquay or stockport away before the final

We won n drew our fixtures at those grounds yet a few fans are thinking we are fcuked if Yeovil don't win or draw on Satday.
And a few home fans at these grounds don't worry me at all.
Bristol here we come then league Two
UTP.

nor me. in fact these sub 2,000 attendances in a ground that holds 5 times that number is not much help for the home side unless they are winning. fans will be on the teams back and players can hear a lot of the stuff shouted out by the fans more easily.

That's one of the most depressing things I've ever read. Why would fans be on the players backs if things aren't going well? It's the first time they've been allowed to go outside and enter a sports stadium for a year. With a lower attendance I'd hope the fans who's lucky enough to go realise this and treat it as a privilege where one would not deliberately try to set off a negative atmosphere.

We've had some great wins in the past with sub 2000 crowds.

that was in the past though when sub 2000 at the vic was the norm. if we,d have been allowed in for that maidenhead game i think the happy clappers would have gone back to normal mode by the end of the game. cannot see saturday being all that much different to a normal game once the match gets going. if pools do well the atmosphere will be decent but not as good as if double the number were allowed in. if they play badly with stupid mistakes leading to goals i doubt fans will think, oh what a pity he didn,t mean to do it.
