Bit late for one of these to go up - is everyone too apprehensive to want to think about it?

2-1 Pools. Oates, Armstrong. Nothing but a win will do.

Looks like our most successful line up has been chosen, assuming the goalie is up to the task.
If both Holohan and Shelton put in solid performances and our back three suffer no mishaps, I would expect a win. We need to have Stockport looking up at us going into their clash with Torquay tomorrow.
Good luck to our lads today but go into the game with the sole purpose of winning it. You can do it.

pools are slightly shading it on chances. bit worried about this ref. as the game went on. seems a bit difficult for pools to get a free kick and all the 50/50.s going their way.

Even first half. Pools are defending well but Ferguson and Sterry not getting forward much and only Oates showing anything in attack.

I don't think Dave Challinor will wait long making changes if Pools don't liven up.

Agree the ref is a bit of a homer.

Job done. Oates MoM again. Hope his Pools contract has got an option for next season otherwise we won't be able to hang onto him.

Their penalty was an accidental handball - not a stupid mistake for a change.

Well the one thing that comes out of today is that our first choice team wins. Any injuries and we have a problem.

thats the problem. one of our players going down injured is nearly as bad as conceeding a goal. no strength in depth even with our squad size.

Hello Aldershot fans. I remember when you said we deserved to go down in 2017 because we kept getting re-elected. Well I'll admit Pools sucked, but at least we're older than you. Aldershot Town formed in 1991, you tinpot southerners let your club die!
