10 man Notts Co just beaten Sutton 3-2 last minute of extra time penalty wins it. Still some hope for automatic promotion.

Cracking result for Pools. Looks like Sutton are beginning to lose the old bottle. And they still have to face Pools. Now we need Torquay and Stockport to start losing a few

This must be the most exciting end to a season we've seen for a long time, all to play for still. UTP!!!!!!!!!

Well done the 10 men (helped by a horrible mistake from the Sutton keeper). Let's hope there's more twists and turns that go Hartlepool's way. It's not over till fat Boris sings.

It's a start. Let's hope Pools' injury list clears up ahead of Saturday.

Aside from the game against us, i'm not sure where Sutton drop any more points - but who knows.

You have a point and they haven't really got any more away games , every other game is in London or close to it! Worse still, other than us none of their opponents have anything to play for. That said, they seem determined to blow it.

Looking at Torquay, they're six points ahead of us and we've both got four games left. Given their superior goal difference, even if they only win two games out of four they still beat us to top spot even if we win all four. Unless we manage a cricket score somewhere. For all their bluster, Stockport are not in a much different place.

We just need to make sure we stay in the top three.

Exciting stuff. We would be getting 5 to 6 k at pools.

I'm a bit confused (my usual default state tbh). For this season only (due to the possible reduction in National League teams) I was under the impression that only the champions go up with the next 4 teams in the playoffs.

Dagenham and Torquay are the hardest games that Stockport have got to play.

Every team in the race is performing ruthlessly. Pools fell first, now Sutton. Let’s hope we get back to winning ways with aplomb on Saturday to get back on track.

thats the most important thing. i,d fancy pools against anybody in this league with a full squad to pick from especially at the vic. we know liddle is out for saturday but missing johnson and cass as well could be our downfall. lets hope maidenhead have a few of their influential players out or feeling the strain of a long season.
