Keeper on loan from Boro, forward on loan from Fleetwood and a defender just released from Boreham Wood. Pools certainly mean business...

After some poor summer transfer signings, raj has certainly allowed Challinor a better standard of signings, season is probobly a few games short for us to win the league, play offs are always a lottery but things certainly look bright for next year, if we can sign a few of these players.

Yes, hope it's not a season for 'if onlys' like the run of games where Pools couldn't find the net before Luke Armstrong came in.

Can't fault the backing for the manager since, the club is really gunning for promotion.

There will always be some signings which don't work out, but the owner has clearly supported the manager. There are no guarantees but it looks like we are gearing up for a real challenge which is great. If DC feels supported hopefully he'll want to stay with us. Where's me shirt for donating to the player fund by the way? Seems like a long time ago. I'd rather I could be there on the final day of teh season. Whatever the outcome the effort and desire has been there. Can't wait for the next game.

think everyone will be more positive now than they were before the season started. just a pity we have not got a game now for 8 days and thats on bleeding BT sports as well. only downside is i doubt we,ll see bennett again in a pools shirt this season again. just hope the new lads make the same impact.

What is happening with the players that were signed and aren't now getting a game? Have we done a Chesterfield?

is josh mcdonald still with the club. cannot remember if he has ever kicked a ball for pools. think a few of the others are more or less bench fillers in an injury crisis.

I remember MacDonald getting a start against Salford in the FA Cup - Challinor changed half the team after the 0-5 at home to Torquay. He was subbed at half-time. According to In The Mad Crowd he last played for us in the FA trophy game in December - subbed after 58 minutes. He's never played in the NL and has only warmed the bench 3 times!

I remember before the winning run started people getting annoyed that he wasn't getting a chance, but he must train really badly in comparison to the rest of the squad. I imagine Dave Challinor will be more disappointed than anyone that it hasn't worked out at all. Next stop the Northern League?

if he does have a really bad attitude i hope he does not get the chance even in that league just because he has a decentish CV. there are plenty of other lads who,d bust a gut to play in the northern league if given the chance. they rarely get an opportunity anymore because they are late developers who missed out when they were younger.
