they are not exactly ready to play in the EFL. suppose they,ll get grants for this that and the other though. lots of clubs love talking about doing this and that for the local community but at a price though. chance of a bit of EFL fame the community can do one with their facilities gone.

The woman’s, kids, walking football and the special need sides who currently play on the Sutton pitch will be relocated, not abandoned, IF we get promotion.

you mean when you get promotion. if you didn,t then i imagine you and other fans will either be in meltdown or conspiracy theories will be rife. imagine the exact same thing happened with harrogate at the end of last season. its all about how much the local community will be upset by losing this facility and what else in the area is available and at what cost.

Surely after the rise of Harrogate, Stockton Town getting promoted three times (4 if not for NV) and the consistent survival of Hamilton Academical MUST confirm 4g pitches pose an unfair advantage? Durham City were another 10 years ago as well.

What advantage do you get with 3G pitches?

apart from the guarentee that your match will be on i,d say none. its not as if all a teams games are played on them. it actually could be a disadvantage if after say 3 home games on the bounce you have to adjust to play of a sloping mud bath. if i had my way you,d be keeping your 3g as clubs in the EFL should be allowed to have them also. there must be plenty of savings to be made by having one without the need to pay for a training ground and an army of groudstaff. mind you there,s loads of money in the EFL and teams do not need cost cutting or extra revenue. they just go out of business.

It just has to be an advantage, it probobly takes teams half a game to understand the run and bounce of the ball. Speaking of advantages look at Chesterfield an t

Speaking of advantages look at Chesterfield and the two million in loans they have received, while furloughing players, yet now constantly signing players. I’d rather be beat by the plastic pitch experts, who are pretty bloody good away too for the title, than some club who is basically taking the piss with the furlough system, to gain a huge advantage.

You just know now that we will end up getting them in the play offs, we will probobly have a half a team out injured, while they will have bout 4 players for each position.

there,s a true saying out there. you cannot beat the system but you can use it. cannot blame them or anyone else finding a loophole to exploit. i,m sure others have thought quite hard and long to copy them.
