Very sad news. Condolences to his family and friends inside and outside football. Must be a horrible shock for Yeovil fans too.

The Police said there was nothing suspicious but it is a tragedy nevertheless.
Deepest sympathy to his family and friends and to Yeovil Town football club and it's fans.

cannot place the lad but its far too young for anyone to die and it will be hard for his family especially to move on from this. hope they get all the help they want and need.

RIP Lee Collins and sympathies to his family and Yeovil Town fc and all associated with them. Very sad state of affairs.

it is. there are so many people and organisations out there nowadays to help people before it becomes too late for them to bother. not all fits everyone but there must be one somewhere that does. anyone on here who gets similar feelings need to talk however embarrased they may feel in doing so. even a post on here could help. we are good at taking the piss, but think we,d all rally round one of our own if in difficulties. been in a dark place myself once in my life and do not want to be there again.

I've known many people who have committed suicide, mainly due to PTSD. The problem is that it tends to be bottled up and the suffer often appears to be behaving normally but is consumed with depression inside. In every case the first I knew was after the event.

think even younger people now know of someone who has taken their own life. words like i never thouhjt it would be them that did it quickly come out. mind you thats the same for a couple of nonces and a wife beater i worked with. at least mental health gets more publicity now than it has ever done which may be of help in the future. it certainly needs to be as those of school leaving age have been told that they can really be what they want to be and the real world has yet to hit them yet.
