0-1 to Aldershot.
The competition is slowly falling away.

They still have 5 games in hand on Pools but that's a very poor result.

Hopefully they remain poor, especially when they play us.

but they and anyone else just are not going to win them all. even teams on a good run rarely average more than 2 points a game. if pools manage that to the end of the season i can see em finishing 2nd or 3rd.

Teams that are not in contention for promotion or relegation (Cos there isn't any) have nothing to lose and can play with freedom and without fear. Notts County have games in hand but are under pressure to win them. I think we might see a few more "unexpected" results.
Well done Aldershot, just don't do it to us.

Agree, and I've already made that point on another thread. Barring a Sutton like run of form by one of the teams below us, 2nd or 3rd place in the final table is Pools to lose - which they won't if they carry on their current form.

All the same, till the season has played out a bit further Notts County can't be ruled out as a team that might suddenly hit form.

unexpected results. does that mean pools winning by a 2 or 3 goal margin.

Cheers Mr. Charco, it's useful to have it laid out like that.

Sutton have only got 3 tough fixtures left as well, and 2 of them are on their plastic pitch :(

On the other hand, Pools and Stockport look clear favourites for the top two play off places rolf

Can't grumble with that, although it's all gone very quiet on the new signings front.

Maybe they haven’t signed anyone because they don’t actually believe we have a chance of beating Sutton and are saving the penny’s. It will probobly come back to haunt us, if we don’t strengthen.
