the first odusina yellow card incident was not clear apart from the obvious push on him where we should have been given a free kick. a quicker referee decision could have prevented it.

I think he got the yellow for the confrontation which followed. He needs to learn to bide his time and make maximum use of receiving a yellow by scything their lad down later in the second half if he can. The ref could have chosen to have a word with them both rather than book them as it wasn’t really a dirty game to be fair.

thats the problem nowadays. you do not need to have a dirty game to get a full handfuk of cautions and a couple of sending offs. not just in our league either. when we get back watching i want to see 11 v 11 unless there is real thuggish behavour on the pitch.

The ref was in an ideal position for both incidents but not sure were his eyes were looking

The push should have been obvious to the assistant. They don't give decisions these days though.

a lot depends on what the ref asks em to do before the game. it does seem though they have less an imput than they used to have though. more likely to see rm flag for something after the ref gives it.
