In that case I'm going for a 0-4 home defeat. :shifty:

Pools 1 Eastleigh 0 Oates. Mostly Pools pressure and endless corners which come to naught. Ben K.......... Here's hoping.

I think he is playing well. Their players are leaving their foot in, as well as putting hands on people and whinging to teh ref about every decision. More likely to send one of theirs off I'd say. Hopefully we can shoot from distance in teh second half. Test their keeper.

Can't see where a Pools goal is coming from the way we are set up at the minute. Armstrong didn't get a sniff of a chance all half - got to get two up front soon. Nothing coming down the left hand side - don't think Ferguson has put a cross in yet in open play.

Never a sending off that, this culture of trying to get the opposition sent off boils mine.

Another good effort from the 10 men to get the draw. Liddle had an immaculate game at the back.

Soft sending off, but to be honest we never looked like favourites to win this one even when it was 11 v 11.

Happy with a point there. Frustrating we had another sending off, but the ref bought it.

Gutted with only a point, and with Sutton winning again its looking like the lottery of the play-offs.

Disappointed with the team selection today, it looked like we were setting out not to lose rather than going for the win. No creativity in that first half, second half was just backs to the wall, defended well against constant attacks but disappointed overall.

At the start of season we would all have been delighted with a play off spot, so the fact some of us are disappointed tonight shows how well we have done. Hopefully we can get a few players back from injury and finish the season strongly and achieve a top 3 place which will give us home advantage in a play off semi final.

Seen the replay. No contact for the second year, clear diabolical dive.

Referee has messed up big time.

Spot on.
Rewind to back end of November it was all doom n gloom on here.
4000 nutters in the Vic will be a major influence on getting to Wembley.

whilst you are correct in saying that even with every player available for selection we still have the problem in scoring. for me there is still no player in the squad you could rely upon to bulge the net from 25 yards on a few occasions and we have to work goals against massed defences who,ll always get the benefit of any doubt from match officials. lets hope for a couple of decent players coming in who can give us another outlet.

he should have been subbed off before it happened. it wasn,t if he hasn,t got a history of stupidity and you cannot rely on refs at this level not to be conned.

Couple of issues there, Accy. One, we'd no defensive cover left on the bench, two, it was about a minute into the second half.

I don’t think he’s got a history of stupidity either. He’s only 21. He’ll learn from his mistakes. It’s not realistic for us to win every game. They looked like a decent side, passed the ball around well. We’ve lost to worse sides this season. Unbeaten run continues and we are in the mix. The new lad had a decent debut too.

yes, but he should have been subbed at half time. if had been injured they,d have found a way round the situation even with subs that were not ideal. 11 is always better than 10 even with round pegs in square holes.
