He's had a few games for Gateshead in the NLN.

I have just enquired and apparently he is well thought of. One of the wife's brownies' dad is a Rotherham fanatic so I texted him. Rotherham's manager Paul Warne lives in our village, I'll have a word if I get the chance, although I haven't seen him much over the past year for obvious reasons.

always had a bit of a soft spot for rotherham and there fans when i,ve been to millmoor back in the old days. might seem a bit aggressive to some but for me they wear their hearts on their sleeves somewhat and what you see is what you get. certainly a good antidote to those bleeding owls down the road. same with donny rovers where my wife liked to go back in the belle vue days. she just never took to the keepmoat in any way.

aggressive but polite at the same time. a weird concoction. I remember coming out of a boozer where me and our kid mistakenly ended up in for about an hour (can't remember cut short a pint) .. on our way out and got these lads at the entrance singing Rotherham songs.. all part of the craic though. no violence
