Fair play, it's almost like someone cares about the fans again. If the stream provider can sort out the regular technical glitches at the beginning of the game and an action replay facility for goals and chances it'll be all good.

Sounds like a step in the right direction. Next phase should consider the role of cameraman,zooming in etc. Vary the approach, assuming that's possible.

Things should never have got this bad, but they did, and now the things we lost and most clubs already had anyway, only in most cases usually bigger and better are coming back. Not something to really celebrate, but to expect from a so called professional club.

we are a football club in the 21st century no better and no worse than plenty of others. unless you are one of those corporate types you are nothing in their eyes till youre money is required. then its really pay up and shut up.

For a club with 2800 paying supporters I would say we are a lot worse than many others, certainly of similar size. We are a club off the field , currently running on empty without any real infrastructure , with various fan groups and volunteers filling in the voids , making it up as they go along.

It’s not the stream provider as I’ve seen a number of high quality streams with them for other clubs (eg. blyth). Anyway pleased the club has just about sorted the issue out but it took far too long.

Don’t see the need for replays as you can press the rewind button and watch any incident or goal as many times as you like.

No I don't think you can watch it with a different presenter, unless you can access a radio coverage and listen to their commentary whilst watching the action on your device or TV. You can also try and watch it if it is being streamed by the other club but that would be putting money in their coffers instead of ours.
As a last resort you can always turn the sound off and talk to yourself.
Or you can accept that the lad is doing his best and is probably doing it for peanuts.
Or you can approach the club and offer to do it yourself.
There you are, never has there been a finer set of options.

Any deterioration this board has experienced took place when you were a moderator YUBEP and you allowed some people to run riot. You had your favourites who you allowed to operate out of control. As a result your moderating powers were taken from you and hey ho the narks jumped ship. Now it is a friendly board, apart from the occasions when you turn up to nark the pitch.
Your problem with me is the fact that I replaced you as moderator and you can't handle that.
We have good posters like Mr Horden and Mr Accrington and others who amuse us from time to time with their lifetime experiences and I try to join in with some of mine.
You don't respond to their lifetime experience with any comments whatsoever and never join in with any of yours but as soon as I pen one of my experiences you jump in with comments like didn't happen. You have no idea whether they happened or not but you still dismiss them as fiction. Why do you do that other than to nark the pitch in a feeble attempt to get me going. I could prove my experiences but I can't be arsed. You not believing me is inconsequential and of no importance which is why I don't give any credence to you and why I take the piss like I did with your question.

There is a problem with deleting every post a person has made.
One of the facilities on offer on this forum is a person's ability to browse the site historically.
You can read any thread that catches your eye or is of interest to you.
However if certain posts are erased from any particular thread it makes that thread disjointed and difficult to follow, thus watering down the browsing facility.
Mr Compo alluded to that and he has probably hit the nail on the head and therefore answered his own question.
On top of that any poster contributing is, in effect, "donating" that post to the bunker and the bunker takes over ownership of that post and is maybe not obliged to return it or delete it, if requested.
If by closing an account it means the automatic destruction of the browsing facility that would explain the reluctance to closure action.
Mr I might be able to explain it further or better but that's how I see it.
There are some cracking threads on this site, why would we want to spoil them????
Mr Compo obviously reads the site from time to time but no longer wants to contribute. However I am sure he has no wish to harm the site or take any facility away from it.

You can take a post down immediately. There's no hard and fast list. Anything defamatory or seriously abusive/offensive. Deliberately carrying on with abuse having been asked to stop. Bit like you do at footy matches.
We don't really get the incidents nowadays and I can't remember the last time we had to close a thread. I have never closed one and clipping a post is my last resort. But like red cards, sometimes the miscreants are simply asking for it.
All we are after is a bit of civility.
I think over the last year the civility on here has been generally excellent and it has been a credit to everybody, which is why post deleting is down to an absolute minimum.
There shouldn't be any need for it.
And while we're at it Mr Accy, If everybody practises civility in the manner adopted by your good self we'll be ok. You are our role model.

I did say maybe but the fact remains that by deleting posts it would have an effect on bunker historical posting. If that is what is being tried to achieve here then so be it but I don't see the point in erasing the bunker's history.
If Mr Compo really wants to pursue this then of course he is able to do so but he can't do it through me, as I have explained ad nauseam, I have not got the facility to carry out his request. So as I have no facility to carry out his request, it is really impossible for me to do that. As I have said to him you will have to discuss the matter further up the chain.

Mr Fatman has suggested that I consult my neighbour, I only wish I could. On March 16th last year he went into full time care and in September his house was sold. I no longer have conversations with him and I don't think I've mentioned his bunker assessments since then. I'm not allowed to visit him but hopefully that might change sooner rather than later. He is doing ok and, on a lighter note, one of the other residents was in the same regiment as he was and his son was telling me that there is shot and shell flying all over the care home. Not literally before someone gets the wrong idea but as long as he is happy and getting good care, that's all that matters. It's only when they're not there anymore that you realise the extent of the void that appears.

honestly no matter what people say on here and at a match even if i disagree with em on anything to do with pools especially on the pitch i can never see any reason to fall out with any pools fans. we are all in it together at the end of the day. in the words of alex belfield i love pools and all pools fans and there is nothing they can do about it.
