Got a case of Crafty Monkey beer delivered the other week. Might crack a few open tonight. Telegraph is my favourite 3.8% on GPI scale.

Paid for the streaming again. Good coverage. It really is the kind of rainy squalls that disrupt the football quality. Pools well on top but not got it on the scoreboard yet. Hopefully ahead before half time while we have the benefit of the wind

Radio dab Wrexham, say they can't understand why pools arnt testing dibble with more crosses into his area. They say that they be over the moon to go in level at half time,

Salford 1-0 up away at Morecambe after 93 mins and lose 2-1, let's hope they don't want Armstrong back.

Happy with a point although sounds like we should've had a penalty.

What a fantastically fit team Pools are this season. Shelton ran himself into the ground again. Wrexham were really poor and Pools battered them all game. Missed a few good chances but the team can't be faulted on the performance and effort. Win on Saturday, move on.

What made it worse was that he was two yards away from it.

Would have taken the point beforehand but gutted it wasn't three.

Referees and their decisions once more are at the forefront of post match discussions. Will there ever be an end to these discussions..... I think not.

Anybody who saw that game knew Pools should have won and had a blatant penalty turned down. Meanwhile Sutton and Torquay United respectively both win away again. That's the difference and a result that will surely come back to haunt Pools.
Sutton United don't have a game this weekend and Torquay are supposed to be at Dover Athletic. So as others claim a win against Barnet is a must. At the moment its Sutton and Torquay who are in the driving seat and Pools just have to keep stretching this winning home run and hope they slip. They sure will but at some point but for now its chase pure and simple. One thing that did please me about last night apart from the two points dropped was the effort put in by Joe Grey. I advocated that he be played right from the start and he was and fair play to DC. I had my initial doubts as to whether he was physical enough just yet for a prolonged spell. The lad worked hard and dispelled those fears for me. Must have been the easiest game Ben K ever had in the Pools goal. A clean sheet gained away but at a heavy price.

Terrible conditions, but a great away performance which deserved the 3 points. I don't think Killip had a save to make & can only recall him having to take out one cross, late in the game. He only had one real save to make on Saturday, & that's overall testament to how DC has the team set up & to the players for putting the plans into action

yes. in normal circumstances if pools had a good away record you could say it was at least a point gained against a side in decent form. however throught the game it ended up as two points lost. if that game had been played at the vic pools would have come out of it with something like a 2 nil win. longer this away form and goals desert pools it worries me more as games pass by. the lads need a really good confidence booster and sooner the better to get at least 2nd place in the league for the big play off advantage.

that could have been the problem. you can be too close to incidents at times.

DC says in his post match interview that the ref said the foul took place on the line. Aren't the penalty area lines counted as inside the box??? I know the goal line is, so what about the other lines??

Superb coverage of game on radio Wales of game with excellent unbiased views of co-commentator Kevin Ratcliffe the former Everton player. I Was also impressed with the Wrexham podcast on you tube for the preview and after match comments. The guy was very impressed by Pools and said we deserved to win .
