For Dagenham read Weymouth.

Similar in so many ways. The Weymouth defeat won't have gone unnoticed in Dagenham and if they work as hard and snuff out any supply to Armstrong and Oates they could have similar success. On the flipside hopefully Pools will have learned something from the Weymouth game.

Repeating myself and the old cliche getting trotted out, but wins at places like these, a long way from home, on heavy pitches against players who are maybe limited but who are prepared to work hard, define promotion seasons

Despite their lowly league position, expecting a right ding dong of a battle here.

4 pts out of 6 has to be the aim.

2-2

Shelton

They've beaten Kings Lynn (January) and Wealdstone (October) at home this season. Overall not great. At least they are not in the 'have not won at home in 5 weeks' kind of run that Pools so often slip up against. Consecutive clean sheets will help team morale too.

I'll go for 2-0 Pools again with a goal each from Armstrong and Oates (both with 100% shot to goal conversion, per the BBC stats!).

Revising the scorers. Just read that Mason Bloomfield used to play for them so he's guaranteed a goal!

2-1 to Pools as he gets confused and hammers a beauty past Killip, winning the Daggers 'Goal of the Season' competition.

Their site also includes links to tell their fans what the 'Best upright vacuum cleaners' are. Thank goodness we've not fallen so far.
