I honestly think DC should have moved heaven and earth to sign this man if possible. A calming influence at the back barring a couple of errors but to be fair to Tyler he goes where he goes. I wish him well and it's Motherwell's gain and Pool's loss.

Yep, probably 3 times as much money for playing in a not much better standard of football.

I liked Magloire and think in time we will miss him.

certainly miss the pace he had for a start and put his nightmare mistake in his debut behind him quickly.

I've liked Magloire from day 1. Yes, that horrendous mistake but he certainly made up for it. He always appeared calm and collected at the back and never really had to use his pace on account of his positioning being good. Take people's point about Motherwell but these things happen. A friend of mine who is Blackburn through and through told me he had heard good things about Magloire (before his Pools loan) and his thinking was that he had heard Rovers had a glut of younger players in that position and that big Tyler would be moved on somewhere. I don't think we've heard the last of Tyler Magloire but sadly not with Pools. I wish him well for the rest of his career wherever that maybe except for certain neighbours of course!

Same here, centre backs these days will make mistakes, its the way the game is these days, you see mistakes in the Premier League every weekend, clumsy late tackles, bad passes, not the easy job it used to be, with the modern day tactics of 3 up front, playing it out from the back , bowling green pitches and rule changes favouring forwards. All in all Magloire was a lot more good than bad, the complete opposite of his team mate Odusina, though it was good to see him overcome a shaky start v Sutton to have a very good game in the end.

Certain clubs seem to produce decent young players, and Blackburn are on of them, we've had some good ones off them in the past, Danns, Kean etc, I will conveniently erase David Clegg from my mind though. The problem we now face as a NL club is that any loan players who impress will move on to bigger clubs in league 1 or 2. Armstrong if he carries on scoring will do the same at the end of the season. I am surprised he never moved at the end of his loan spell, but my gut feeling is there is something else going on with there, and he needs the stability of been at home in the NE with his dad nearby, so a loan extension made sense.

on a good day he could play in division 1 but more like ly a good player in div.2 or our level. being somewhere where you are happy is worth more than a few more notes in your pocket. taking pools out of it i,d rather play for altrincham than somewhere like stevenage or crawley just for the money. as long as you can pay your bills money is not the god for everyone.
