Black Mirror Collection on Netflix

Anyone been watching this? A dystopian science fiction anthology television series created by Charlie Brooker.

Weird story lines and at times dark and funny.

I see it as a bit of a piss take out of modern day life but mainly the dystopian future, which with mobile phones, the internet and Social Media is already here, very enjoyable , worth a watch.

Don't think I've seen that one yet, will look out for it. White Bear , National Anthem, and one I watched last night Nosedive have stood out so far.

The Road was alright..anymore more suggestions for the dystopian society?..we need to be prepared.

“Metalhead” and “Hated in the Nation” are superb!

Don't think they need grants. Successive governments have created or failed to tackle a North/South divide that has allowed those in the South to amass large amounts of money to be able to pay for the building of their own bunkers. If this inequality continues, they will also need to put some cash aside to pay for the installation of electric fences around their above ground properties

Some great episodes. National Anthem, Shut up and Dance, White Christmas, Hang the DJ, San Junipero the highlights.

Never seen a bad one yet, just some better than others. Didn't realise Charlie Brooker was married to the lass off Blue Peter, Konnie Huq and one of their children is called Huxley. I wonder if he is named after after Aldous Huxley, author of the great Dystopian novel Brave New World.

I thought the series Utopia (UK), on ch.4 a few years ago was a brilliant dystopian conspiracy thriller.

Yep agreed, really good with excellent characters.

An American version has now been made which will no doubt be bloody dreadful !

That was going some to get through them all. Did that include series 5 and the interactive stand alone film “bandersnatch” ?
