Tuned in a few weeks ago and I been peased with the records played and certainly mostly doesn't have the hype of many commercial radio stations or the BBC. News by Sky.

Any coverage/news/interviews from Pools? I listened a few years a go expecting Radio Hartlepool to have some interest in the town's footy club but there was never a mention so went back to Tees. Has that changed?

They very, very, rarely mention Pools or indeed any sport at all. Their music mix is pretty good to be fair but as most of their shows are recorded they are pretty useless with things like traffic news, sport or any type of breaking news other than that from their Sky News inserts.
