The BBC's days are numbered in my opinion. Too many people getting paid way above their worth.

The only real sports personaility of the year was barred from the short list due to BBC's love affair with Hamilton. I didn't watch it for the first time in naerly 50 years.

think you might not have been on your own there. it was obvious who the winner would be. someone with no personality and a sport that plenty do not regard as a sport in the first place.

I find it amazing in a world where CO2 emissions have become a worldwide bone of contention that support for a sport where vehicles do 6 mpg emitting annoying noise decibels for a couple of hours is still supported so vehemently.

It is because people only support causes such as saving the planet etc when it suits them. You have to either support every bit of saving the planet even to the extent of denying yourself what you have a passion for or risk becoming a hypocrite.

thats the reason i keep well away from the climate change subject. i do not mind what anyone thinks of me apart from being a hypocrite.
