Halifax v Pools predictions

Obviously depends what team DC puts out. Sounds as though it will be a Salford style one though with Williams and Macdonald getting starts. He states he is putting out a team to win the game, not that I have ever heard a manager say they are putting a team out to lose the game

Given that our so called best team struggle to win games , I can't imagine how a scratch team could manage it, but there you go. For what its worth I think he should've put what he thinks is his best team out today, basically the side that played last week , and given them a chance to redeem themselves.

If Halifax rest players, by all accounts they are struggling to get a team out because of injuries, and we have a bit of luck with the ball dropping for us, then we could win. If Halifax put a better side out than us on the day ( and I do believe us and Halifax will finish smack bang in the middle of the table when the fat lady sings ) then I can't see anything but a defeat. One thing Halifax do seem to have is a fighting spirit, and they go in hard and take no prisoners, so it could be equally them down to 10 men or Williams getting stretchered off

The Xmas period could be a turning point for DC and indeed the club, with some tough fixtures coming up. Exit the FA Trophy and less than 5 points out of 12 in the league , and ... well I think we know what happens next.

Only we could be given two penalties, play against 10 and still lose the match. Team and club at the minute are a farce.

Thought we had a good spell in the 31st minute and dominated the 68th. A couple of more handballs by Halifax in their own box , and we could've nicked that today.

Another decent midfielder up against us again yesterday, in Kevin Summerfield. As this season progresses I'm becoming increasingly aware , that yet again , its our central midfield, where the problem lies.

Later on my daughter asked how we got on and I said we're out on penalties, we notched the first two and put the second two over the top and she said, I bet Donaldson was one of them.
