He's talking like a little boy lost, He's frustrated without answers. I suggest he goes and we put Sweens back in charge.
We can't go on like this.

Sounds exasperated and totally deflated there, not getting the response from the squad he expects but the simple truth is a lot of them just ain't good enough. The balance of the team is still all wrong, we don't possess any players who can break up the opposition play, we keep going sideways to Featherstone to retain possession and admittedly he's good at that, but it gives the opposition time to get everyone behind the ball and we get stuck on the edge of the box with nowhere to go, no room for a through ball and crosses that get easily cleared.
We also don't win the physical battles all over the pitch, far too soft, how many times today did your hear the commentators say our guys had 2 or 3 oppo' around them when they had the ball. Too ponderous and predictable with our build up play.
Tis like a broken record though Mr.H.

It is a painful ten minutes - and it is hard to disagree with anything that he says - but how much of it should have been kept in the dressing room? And why were players who were decent on Tuesday so awful today? Why DC? Why?

I do feel for the bloke - he has been given a bad hand to deal with - but I can't stop thinking back to the 70s, 80s and early 90s - we were awful for long periods but you always knew that the players and staff were trying (their best - it might not have been brilliant, but they gave their best).

I just don't sense any passion from the players - and fear that DC is losing his.

What a shitty night............at least I'm not stuck on a bus with Donaldson and his ego.

Also allowing Mafuta to go was a massive mistake, we don't possess that combative type of midfielder in our squad, holding and attacking midfielders but not the scrappers/ball winners, until that is addressed we will continue to struggle.

Paulus - Mafuta is a difficult one. He was only on the bench for the latter part of last season, & our performances were approaching play-off standards in that time. If he was on high wages, it's then easy to see why he was let go

When the opposition get the ball it's moved forward easily and with pace and hurts us, we badly need a couple of 'disruptive' type players, I did think initially Crawford was brought in to fulfill that role but he's more of what we already have unfortunately.

Yep ! interviews like that in the past have usually been are a pre-cursor to the sack a couple of weeks later.

All very depressing :uhoh:

Don't panic. Liddle and Williams will be back for the promotion run in. Oh and Josh Macdonald was spotted on CCTV yesterday withdrawing money out of a cash machine in Outer Mongolia.

For now , but remember what I said about us destroying players Johnjo. Noticeable that the best left back in the league is getting worse every game. This is what happens when a manager destroys dressing room morale. Bringing them in today will do the trick, NOT ! will only make things worse, pissing off the few players who so far have tried.

I too thought that Ferguson was a good signing but how are we destroying him he has been a disappointment from day one. To date I haven’t seen another left back in this league who isn’t better or as good as him. I know we all have favourites and I respect your views but I just don’t see how you can put him on a pedastil as the best left back in the league.

Because I think he is. I also disagree, with your view that he has been a disappointment since day one, its a matter of opinion, that's what message boards are for , sharing those opinions . I may be possibly guilty of exaggerating how good Ferguson is, but you are guilty of not giving him credit, as you say, we all have our favourites, as I say, its all about opinions.

I leave it for us to differ all I was trying to say is that I was expecting more from him.

Going by DCs last few interviews it seems like he's a dead man walking.
Probably thinking HUFC just sack me n pay me contract up till the end of next season. ( I'm to young to go thru the grey hair syndrome).

But that's could be anutha problem for him as Higgy knows all to well about our owner honouring contracts.
Anyway good luck to our next manager.
Ya certainly gunna need plenty of it.
