He seems genuine, but there's a lot of holes i can pick regarding Mark Burrows' take on JPNG.

It's worth remember that JPNG was a "recruitment" business that advertised the same dozen or so jobs on its website for 2 years, and had a telephone number that never worked, and had a registered office of a hairdressers. I mean, I could a million reasons why I don't believe Coxall or Goldberg had genuine plans for Hartlepool United.

There was a freedom of information request regarding meetings between Hartlepool United and the Council - the results that there were 0 meetings. So the idea that Hartlepool Council were going to negotiate land (other than Victoria Park) with Hartlepool United, which would be used by a developer who would make the club self sufficient doesn't ring true.

He probably is genuine, but I tire of people who these days, take a wage knowing bad things are going on, but rather than speak out at the time , speak out years later, we had it with Harrison over the summer on the Mark Simpson podcast. Also trying to exonerate themselves into the bargain, it wasn't me, it was Watson, Coxhall, Pam etc

way of the world now. a type of person thats speaks out now would not get the job anyway. they need to follow the party line.

Thanks for putting this up - an interesting listen. The references to Coxberg 'buying the club' and spending their own money on it are hilarious. Was Burrows really that naive? There's no doubt he's choosing his words carefully at times to avoid libelling anyone, but it's clear where his sympathies lie. His story about Ronnie Moore giving him the cold shoulder for trying to bring players in at Pools has the ring of truth!

The bad guys according to Burrows:
Paul Watson
Pam
Dave Jones

and the good:
Craig Hignett
Gary Coxall. According to Burrows, Coxall never had any bad intentions towards Pools but was way out of his depth as Chairman and has been 'ruined' by his involvement.

On one level, whether the whole thing was a scam or he ended up loading the club with debt because he didn't have a clue or a bean of his own to put in, the end result was the same - HUFC taken to the brink of extinction.

Those dozen "jobs" were actually copy/pasted from a real recruitment site - I know, I told them at the time.
Nothing on the "website" was real, it was a poorly executed smoke and mirrors op.... but good enough for the daft/blind buggers at pools.
