I recently worked for a bloke with a similar personality who also appealed against the loss of a massive contract. He too could not cite any reasons and he was made to look a fool. I regarded him as delusional with an over inflated view of himself. I am sure there must be a medical term for such behaviour but I think the word Wanker sums them up.
