Good that we'll at least be able to watch Pools' second match of the season. There is no mention of streaming on the National League site but I'll guess this is due to timing/ release of the approvals. I did check the BT Sport site too but it is just a Premier League spunk fest on their site. I gave up looking.

Hopefully more of the league teams will be announcing streaming soon.

No not at all. Streaming will be done by the home side with them keeping all of the revenue generated. Literally says that in the Chesterfield article....

Any news if season ticket holders (who have already paid to attend the game) will be getting a free code or somesuch?

Fair enough to charge for away fans and non-season ticket holders who would pay on the day anyway. And I imagine BT having the rights to some NL games will over-ride club broadcasts of those matches, which seems fair enough.

that only applies though if the home club are actually doing their streaming. if pools are not then aldershot have a right to claim the money being the only provider of the service. be just like pools not to do their own streaming and ban aldershot from doing theirs so everyone misses out.

Pools have already stated they are consulting with a streaming service.
They were going to stream the Consett game free ( i think) as a trial.
May have been the boro game can,t remember.

Well our volunteer media manager was on twitter the other day saying he knew nothing about how to stream games, so don't know how we are going to pull this off. He was going to use the Middlesbrough game as a learning exercise, but that never came off, so fook knows how this will play out.

My assumption is only the home team will stream the game and away fans access it through the home side. So if we don’t stream it then there will be no streaming at all.

Either way pools are going to stream at a cost of £9.99 a game, free for season ticket holders!

Good that we get an announcement at last. Jesper finally speaks. Don't forget that this is going to be a first time presentation so expect it to be a bit of a learning experience for the stream team.

One hilarious point of the current situation is that Wealdstone are going to allow fans into their social club at the ground, to watch a live stream of the match vs Chesterfield that is being played at Wealdstone. Views to the pitch are going to be blocked. Hilarious because if it was made up, you'd not believe it.

I hope the season starts on Saturday. UTP.

If this had happened in a laurel and hardy or marx brothers film you would laugh your head off. must be the silliest ever day out in wealdstone. hope they do not have the commentary or half time and pre match music over 85 decibells and they sing their wealdstone songs they,ll be fined and shut down next.

Good news about the live streaming, happy with it as a season ticket holder but £9.99 otherwise is a bit more expensive than some other clubs.

Still it is a bit of income, perhaps more so from the away fans more of whom might prefer to stream than make the 600 mile round trip from Aldershot!

Rule of 6 still allowed in our law abiding town for now.
It's a tenner a telly
6 fans don't pay £60.

Get a load of Tinny's in from the supermarket and av a good piss up with ya pals.

Only downside is we nearly always never win our first home game of the season.

Then do the same v Chesterfield.
Away banker that one like.
UTP.

No problem with the £9.99 , not so sure if I would pay that to another club though, if Pools were away. though ti could be the only way to keep in touch as doubt there will be any radio commentary whilst lockdown rules are in place.

No doubt there will be teething problems with the streaming , but I for one will cut them slack, everyone has to learn and start somewhere, sure it will get better as it progresses
