Just picking up where he left off last season - Featherstone would probably have been voted Player of the Season if it had finished in the normal way, but the way it fizzled out awards got forgotten about. Must be the first time that's ever happened?

He has grown into the role over the years, and improved massively. Still don't think he is an automatic promotion standard midfielder though. Pools looked good on those highlights, fit, energetic and direct, plenty of shooting on sight and good finishing , shame it was against lower league opposition though. Another shocking pre-season, but I suppose we can cut them some slack this time, with Covid etc.
