Definitley York City (not Darlo). Reason: Always loads of Poolies taking over plus the atmosphere and not to far to go. Come on York get back to playing Pools.

Just got home from a cracking night out. But even with drink spilling out I still cannot agree with u here. Nothing comes close to the REAL derby games. I really miss those hate filled proper games and I bet the loids would agree with me. BTW Darlo is closer to here and we always had massive support. As for atmosphere I honestly cannot think of any league game ever that even come within a million miles of Darlo away for real proper full on banter and atmoshere. The taking over of the tinshed was priceless. I cannot remember the loids ever bringing loads here apart from the playoff game but i may be wrong. Forget York and think Scarborough now that was a superb day out in its day. :-D

There's that many to choose from.
But best goal celebration ive ever experienced was in the late 80s fa cup game at York when Paul Baker scored for Pools to make it 1 1 in the 88th minute.
1300 poolies going absolutely ballistic celebrating like we had just won the FA cup.

Had it on video for years.
Would appreciate it if someone knows how to put it on the bunker.

Used to be a brilliant era from mid 80s for about 23 years going to loads of away games.
Great days out.
Nowadays it's just to meet up with fellow poolies to reminis about how good it used to be supporting pools.

Quite sad really to how it is now.
Hopefully our brilliant fan base gets the reward it deserves in the not to distant future.
UTP.

I could write a book about my Pools away day experiences , but in terms of consistency, it has to be York for me as well. If like me another one of your loves is pubs and real ale , then the beauty of York is, no matter how the game went, you can always have a good time on the drink. Out of all the York games I have attended the 88 cup game was memorable ( i travelled up from Brighton for that one ) but the best one was the game in 2015 ( the great escape season) sun was shining , great pub crawl before the game, stood in the York end , as usual we got beat, York being one of, if not our unluckiest grounds.

a victory at stockport think it was 2003 where gabbiadini made a complete mug of the lanky jones. after some real hammerings there in the 70, and 80,s it made a nice change.

Exeter is my favourite away club to visit but nothing will beat the trip to the echo stadium and that mad bus convoy.

Got to be Darlo obviously - the best either the Day of Efion at the White Elephant Stadium or April 1997 when Joe Allon came on as sub to score the winner and silence the Darlo fans gloating that Pools were going down. Into non-league? No way that was ever happening to Pools...

I always enjoyed Peterborough and not just 'that' game. The whole train journey, day out was great. Always seemed to take a good following to.

Darlo's echo chamber creating our 100% record at the venue.

I really enjoy unexpectedly good away days, proper battling wins regardless of the quality.

Got fond memories of Scunthorpe away in 2013. We ultimately went down of course, but we won that 2-1 to carry on a good run of form giving us a bit of hope. The noise for the last 15 minutes as we held on was huge.

Aidan Keena's winner at Solihull Moors in March was probably the biggest away celebration we've had in a fair few seasons.

Beating Northampton 3-1 to get promoted back in 1991.
That cup game against Leeds when there was 50'000 people in the ground.
Darlo away 3-0
Tranmere away in the play offs.
