Talbot suggested that you are a Tory.

You haven’t confirmed or denied it so at this point it’s an allegation.

Voted Tory all my life, these last few years have not been anything to shout about but on the whole not been a bad ride for a middle classed Retail manager.

6 Large Bread Buns 5p from Morrisons yesterday. Bargaintastic. They tasted nice too.

Morrisons bakery bread is wank, the soft rolls have a crust because they leave the damper open, been that way for years.

Be nice to have a decent bun. All supermarket buns are crap as is anything in a pre-sealed bag. Half of them are full of dough that you could glaze a window with.
The last decent baguette I had was in Ostend !

Made a crusty white boule and rosemary focaccia yesterday, if I have to stay at home I can survive on decent fodder, popped out an orange drizzle cake too which was nice.

Made a couple of beauties today, a 5 hour proof with chewy texture and loads of holes for the butter to hide in and a short proof no knead, made a croque monsieur with that one for the kids, loved it they did.

There's no such thing as a good baguette. Pointless shape, pointlessly pointy, mouth gougingly crusty on the outside, soft as shite on the inside. They should be banned.

I made some Canadian white 14 hour crusty, and saved some dough to make a hot pepperami, wild rocket and chilli pizza, plenty off Italian mozzarella and black olives both were lush.
