Also worth mentioning that Dover are scrapping u18 season tickets for the season unless the cap is lifted and is scrapping their freebies for u11s unless the cap is lifted. Basically adult season tickets only, if you don’t get a season ticket then you have to scrap for a spare from the club in the week leading up to the game.

Maybe they cheap to attract supporters when they have BIrmingham, Aston Villa and w.b.a on their doorstep.

having a ground the middle of nowhere without a house on their doorstep i think having a sugar daddy owner helps them no end.

I think someone said a week or two ago that the £100 deal was the beginning of the end. I tend to agree, it was just not enough money. No reason why it shouldn't be just as damaging to Solihull. Admittedly we sold three thousand odd but a lot of those people paid £100 for something they would have been perfectly happy to pay £300.

no, some who do not go regularly might pay 100 but not 300 . lots of fans miss mid week games for various reasons anyway. in my book 3000 at 100 quid is exactly the same as 1000 at 300 if any club wants money upfront. it only affects the money gained on matchdays for those who turn up for the odd game.

Agreed and it's instant cash of course but if memory serves, we were selling a lot more than a thousand already. Come to think of it, I'm suprised that Coxall didn't come up with a 3 year season ticket so he and his mate could pocket more cash.

That argument holds up if the number of cheap season tickets sold is never going to approach full ground capacity. If capacity at the Vic is going to be around 2,500 next season it makes sense to get as much revenue in from season tickets as you decently can.

In order to accommodate the maximum numbers of fans will people be bumped into other stands or asked to stand rather than sit.
Prospect is that you could be split up from friends that you normally sit/stand with.
But if we can get anywhere near 2500 thats brilliant.
Sod away supporters as we dont want to be allocating any stand or proportion when 13 turn up.

The £100 (plus VAT) offer is limited to first 500

They are also selling Car Park season tickets for £200 plus VAT

I suppose that way the total season ticket cost would be be £300 plus VAT (£360)?

if you have a seating season ticket this will not apply as you still will be able to sit and shout a conversation from 2 metres away. its non season ticket holders who roll up without a pre booked ticket who will have to take whats left. fans will have to change their ways i,m afraid for next season and help themselves and others by booking a ticket online. if you cannot do it just get someone to do it for you.
