Signs for Barrow as expected.

8 goals in 70 games for Pools this spell and on the sidelines injured for the last 6 months of his contract. It's a pretty poor return when you see it in black and white like that.

no player can help picking up an injury. there must be very few indeed who go through their career without a lengthy injury. do not think his goals per game stats tell everything about him. too many of those games he was played out of position and due to his size had to live off very few scraps. on his day he could be a match winner. without him and kitching thats 2 left sided players to recruit. who will they be and of what caliber as well.

Agree about injuries being one of those things. I was thinking about it in the context of the contract offer from Pools he turned down for the chance to go and play at a higher level -again! I realise most footballers would do exactly the same but the Peterborough business still sticks in my craw.

I reckon Barrow will struggle in League Two without Evatt so he could be in for a tough season if he doesn't get in amongst the goals.

Whilst I’m sorry to see him go Hogans only touched the surface. Since he left Pools he has played for five league clubs and scored 2 goals which makes you think he is not league standard, and whilst he may have played out of position he has still played as a forward

Lightweight player who spent too much time on his arse, better out there.

If he ever stopped drinking the Falling Down Water he might make an average Non League player

Brilliant player first time round for pools.
Then like every other returning X poolie turned to shite as per normal.
Can't blame him for jumping a sinking ship.

Like anyone you have a living to make so he moves for better terms. Doesn’t make him a better player though he is still imo an average non league player as his record shows.

might have helped him if he had been left in his preferred position than moving him around by different managers.

Maybe that they didn’t think he was good enough in his preferred position. Stats show that since his initial spell at Pools he has done nothing.

Two football league goals.....one a goal line tap-in for Peterborough and the other a penalty which the team let him take at Morcambe as he hadn't scored up to that point.
