A true legend of a bygone era and a lovely lady too. I had the honour of meeting her a couple of times, both at Buck House garden parties. She didn’t have the slightest bit of arrogance about herself at all and was charming.

knew a couple of people who worked with her in her heyday and they,d have said the same. they had different views on plenty of others around the time. wonder if that helped her popularity.
