1. Creosote

2. Petroleum Spirit

3. Fresh seaweed

4. Wednesday's in Hartlepool when brewing smell was right across the town

The Sandlewood smell that pervades the air in Africa.

The Strong smell of oranges around my ex’s parents house in Valencia. Her father owned a large orange farm and their house was built smack in the middle of it.

1.Coal fire in a pub , that distant smoky smell that seems ever present in places like the Lake District
2. Gorse bushes , that coconut / almond smell of its yellow flowers
3. Freshly cut timber and associated sawdust
4. Coffee - that old favourite
5. Linen , even better mixed with a woody smell such as Sandalwood, the sort of smell you get when you enter a Gentlemen's outfitters in places such as Covent Garden , for example Paul Smith
