You made the mistake of using the word free, Mr Freaky.

When you shout free, barristers disappear.

I would be very wary of taking any "advice" from any armchair solicitors and would go to a solicitors practice for any legal advice. They sometimes give an initial consultation free but you need to check.
You mention Family courts so I would imagine this means divorce and children and there are loads of scarred "experts" out there so be careful.
I am not a solicitor but had a shitty divorce.

Your imaginary neighbour was a solicitor 2 weeks ago. Now he's a barrister ? By the time lockdown ends he will be a High Court Judge.

Try the Citizens advice mate first, I believe most solicitors offer 30 minutes free advice, worth checking that out too.

There are lots of solicitors who offer pro bono advice, try law works which has a search facility for local groups

from my own and other people i know are that family courts are somewhat of a minefield. there does not seem a set of rules they follow and a lot depends on the day in question. good luck though but you,ll need it.
