Drove past VTE to get fish'nchips from Oxford Road ... (7/10)

Had a takeaway from the Fireplace, reviews were awful on delivery time but food reviews great, ordered early and arrived on time, Lame Kofta kebab was excellent, Pizza was best had in long time but parmo was average.

Put the review on village WhatsApp group and 2 people ordered, both got delivered 110 minutes late and both cold!

Had 2 takeaways in 2 months. Last Thurs and tonight. Both from Royal Chef. House Special Chow Mein. 8.898/10 and tonight Salt n Chili Chicken with Rice n Curry sauce. 9.7959/10. I've missed a Good Takeaway.

Been to the Catering Hut at Heritage Park (the Wembley of the North) twice in the last 2 weeks for lunch (social distancing applies). The Cheese Steak Burgers are fantastic and great value at £2.50. I'll be back.

Had a walk up to HP yesterday. Cheese Steakburger with onions and a cuppa Coffee. Was spot on. They've got a Gazebo and a couple of Picnic tables now. Social distancingtastic is the order of the day. Also you can do the dribble round the pitch to raise funds for the NHS.

Cheers Mr Butt it was pleasant. Had a walk up again today and had a Bacon and Mushroom Bun with Tomato sauce. It was rather good.

New chips are nowhere near as good as the old ones. I mean who goes to a fastfood restaurant and wants wedges? They may as well batter the burgers and put the coke in a pint glass!
