Post if you've had the 'when this is over' conversation or you've been on the receiving end of one.

My first with the missus (receiving end) was this morning over something pretty trivial.

I can get a bollocking from mine even when I've paid her a compliment! Unbelievable.

Women!!

Mine said this morning, " What do I look best in"?, holding up 3 outfits and I casually replied" the distance", she went off it :angry-screaming:

I must be lucky then. We're in day 15 here and still getting on like a house on fire.
One of the keys is to respect each others' self time.

So you've been sat in the shed most of the time?

Amazingly we've hardly had any chew yet. I think because our lass doesn't have to commute now and deal with all the stress in the office its making her more chilled out.

I'm sure after a few weeks it will all start going tits up. At least it will be warm enough to camp in the back garden before long.

I know you call the rats your little friends but singing to them really isn't a good sign.

I've been considering that already, the wind the other night put me off the idea for now!

funny but we have not had a fallout since this started. might be a lot different for some families though. think me and my ex would have been at each others throats by now as we always fell out on holiday without fail.

I don't work so I usually do all the household jobs, cleaning, washing, cooking the meals. My wife is now working from home & said she also wants to take over all the household jobs to keep her busy, great stuff, saves me from doing it. Its also our anniversary today. I don't envisage any problems either, no matter how long this lockdown lasts!!

That got me thinking about my exes.
One of them would have been pissed off at not being able to fly all over the world but she liked her telly. Two weeks maybe before arms were drawn.
One was in love with the pub. She'd have lasted about half a day.
One would have gone out regardless because she was world champion at telling lies about where she'd been. Probably a three week job there.
One would have been found wandering aimlessly around Scarborough or Tow Law or somewhere trying to remember why she went out. That could have lasted indefinitely.

I had a go at our lass today for eating a stick of raw celery loudly like a goat. I told her she should eat it by sucking on it.

Me and the Missus are both self isolating, me in one room her in the other just meeting for meals and walking the dogs, working so far, then again we've been doing it for 44 years so well used to it.

Yes. this afternoon I tried to calm her down by saying I should have stuck with the Spaniard. At least then I would be isolating in the warm. Didn't seem to work.

my last one loved it too much. might have been together still if this had happened in 2003.

Fuck sake. I'm on leave today, so main task for the day is sort the shed out so we can get all the bikes in and out easily one at a time.

Halfway through the job, our lass starts demanding I help creosote the fence. I told her I hadn't finished the shed as it is an all day job, and she starts slavering about having to do things all by herself.

I explained to her that unlike her, I start a job and see it through to completion before starting another one. Rather than start something, then start something else half way through, never actually finishing anything.

I was only stating a fact, but she spat her dummy right out. And us blokes are constantly told that we ought to be honest at all times.

If women are so good at multitasking why don't they do more 69s?
