Should Liverpool get the title with games Unplayed which is what is being suggested at the moment? The problem for me is the effect on others if they finish the league as is. Teams will be relegated when they have played harder games that some who survive. European places will be awarded when teams might have a far easier run in. Players coming back from injury might well make a difference to both ends of the table.

For me no one has won or lost anything until all the games are played and if they’re not played then it’s null and void. I’m not being anti Liverpool who are miles ahead and will undoubtedly win the league if the games are played, it’s the rest of the teams that would be unfairly done to.

Either play the remaining games, which seems an impossibility, or void the season. Liverpool will walk it next season anyway, they're far superior to any other teams currently.

Being selfish I could do with some live footy to watch while I'm stuck at home.

Very harsh on Liverpool I know, but I cant see how you can win the title if you never finished the season. It would be like stopping the Grand National three and a half miles in and declaring whoever was in the lead the winner, although I do accept in the case of Liverpool they were a mile in front of the next horse. Still all the clubs signed up to playing a full season, and unless it is completed, it should be null and voided .

If the season is voided, we've not only had to suffer from Covid and the effects it's had on our lives, we'll also have suffered 6 months of VAR for absolutely no reason as well.

VAR defined the Premier League for me this season , nothing else. Killing the game , again all about the money, another attempt at ensuring the big clubs win all the prizes.

The Season has to be completed. Do away with next seasons F.A. cup League cup, E.F.L The trophy and any other meaninghless cup iv'e missed out and get all the league games from this season finished and it will leave spaces to start next years leagues even if it's late.

If Pools were in Liverpools position I'd be livid if the season and all the records being broken were just dumped.

for someone like me who has no real interest in knock out competitions getting rid of em would not bother me. the thing is plenty of clubs have survived due to the money they get from em. how much did pools get from the trophy and fa cup last season. its a lack of revenue that would have to be made up from elsewhere. yes, if pools were liverpool i,d imagine we would be unhappy, and that puts it mildly.

I imagine most Liverpool fans would want to win it properly, so getting it handed to them now is surely not an option, either finish season or have another go next season. Man U fans would make a meal out of telling them they never won it properly . If it was Pools I wouldn't want the title in any other way than by playing the entire season.

You only make money IF you progress and it's a pitance until you get into the 3rd round anyway which we rarely do, so bollocks to the cups the league is what is the priority.

it might feel like a pittance to some people but its a few grand lost even if a team gets knocked out in the first game they play in the trophy or fa cup. do not forget it was not that long ago that pools needed every pound they could get to survive.

FFS! Whatever happened to just winning a cup for winning a cups sake? no wonder football is in a mess.

As for Pools finances , do we not need every pound we can get now to survive? Anyone who thinks those troubles are behind us is being very complacent indeed.

the cup, especially the fa cup, has just become a big cash cow for the majority of clubs and fans at a lower level. its got to the point of just getting to round 3 to play a manchester united type AWAY to get the most money out of it. always used to remember when all fans wanted a home draw and swerve teams higher up to go as far as they could in the competition. think those of us older fans wanted pools to do at least a york or port vale to get to the semi final stage. now the fans want man ure away for the big pay day.

could not think of any team i,d have less interest in drawing in the cup that was 2 divisions above pools in any division that pools have ever played in than oxford city. that draw was one of the low points of last season.

Totally agree. First thing everyone does is get a calculator out to speculate on the prize money. Not celebrating a good win anymore, just a good windfall.
