The JustEat adverts are insufferable. As well as the cringeworthy Ant and Dec Santander skits mentioned below. The FA Cup adverts by BT are like a bizarre fever dream you'd find funny if they weren't inherently disturbing.

when a bbc programme is repeated say on the drama channel they extend it from just under a hour to at least 75 minutes. get catch up tv and pay for it ad free. worth every penny.

Just pause the programme for 20 minutes at the start, put the kettle on, make a sandwich and then whizz through the ads when they come on.

A good feature of Spanish TV is that a lot of stations, although they have just as many adverts, say for example "back in 7 minutes" before they start.

(and when you come back 7 minutes later they say "ha! ha! fooled you; you missed the restart!")
