Shite sausages!

I can`t find a decent one anywhere, the ones with chewy skins are the worst but even a tasty one is beyond the pale, Lees Butchers did beautiful ones but now closed, anyone had a decent one and not them smooth tubes of shite, proper sausage only.

its a bit like music. what others like you might not. once you find one to your taste just stick to it and hope they stop in business. for me they just cannot make a proper sausage these days and have to stuff allsorts of extras in.

we seem to stick to the extra specials in asda... 2 packs for 4 quid and they are 82 - 86% pork meat... not bad for a sausage

Bolams do a canny sausage & there is a butchers in Penshaw (cant remember their name, but on the main road just beneath Penshaw Monument) who also do good ones Mr Butt.
