Does anyone on the bunker remember a cold blustery night in September 1970 when Pools (near the bottom of division four - how strange) beat County 2-1 who were top at that time. A ginger haired kid called Les Crook (great name) scored I think the winner. Crowd was about 2.700?

Some player..... playing first team football 5 years before he was born. Puts paid to the argument about being to young.

Haven't been here since the Harrogate game but wow. Never looked like we were going to do anything but win. Must of held a large majority of possession. Can't wait to see the free kick again!

Well done pools!

Played some nice football and probably should have scored 6, they were average and never really troubled us.

Another extremely solid, competent win. Both goals arguably down to horrendous goalkeeping errors, certainly for the first one, but County would be flattering themselves to think that other than that it was an even game.

Lots of positives to take from this. Our game management has come on leaps and bounds since the start of the season. The composure shown at 2-0 up to see the game out was a joy to watch.

Solid, comprehensive win. Just need to play like this away from home now. Boreham Wood have the leagues best form over the last 15 games so will be a tough one.

Lots of solid performances again but thought Timmy strolled through the game and Kitching getting better and better.

just need to do the same away from the vic. if we get into the play offs you know at sometime or another pools will end up with a game at harrogate just to make it all pointless anyway.

Dennis was hauled off at half time. He was a storm in a tea cup.
