Well that was weird!
Got them for the kids and they cook rock hard and chewy, no fat or lumps but chewy as hell, never again!

If people who happily eat typical British sausages find them bad they must really suck horse.
I've eaten some excellent poultry and even rabbit sausages, just not British ones.

Can't beat the great British banger, made by the local butcher. Walls, Richmond et al are pure unadulterated shite I would agree but a good local butcher who makes his own definitely takes some beating. Fenton's in our village or Albert Bacon's just off the market place in Retford are World Class. I like a bit of Lincolnshire sausage now and again as well
Bollocks to all that there German crap, now that is shite.

Just like the three best cheeses in the World are Stilton, Shropshire blue and Lincolnshire Poacher.

I'll keep you buggers right don't worry about that.

I have always been a bit wary of sausages as i have had some proper butches sausages and didnt like them.
Quite often would half eat and leave when having a breakfast when on holiday etc if not up to my taste. Often get a disapproving look from the provider.

It is equally difficult to find a high class butcher. Don't get me wrong. It doesn't mean the rest suck but finding a good combination of a good butcher with a good sausage is tough. Tougher than the deli sausages I had last night <shiver>
