Can someone give me an unbiased account of what has happened?

My understanding is that it is overcrowded in places and aisles get blocked. People also stand up and don't stick to their allocated seats. This pisses the stewards and police off because they're supposed to stop this sort of thing. The club like the improved atmosphere that this sort of thing helps to create but can't tell the stewards and police to ignore the rules because they are there for safety reasons.

Therefore the club has met with some fans who go in the NW corner and have hatched a plan that will hopefully keep everybody happy. Obviously the plan is currently being kept secret for a very good reason that can't be revealed under any circumstances.

Tried not to be biased but it could be bollocks - just passing on what I was told by a sauce who was scared of being identifierd and water-boarded with tepid water.

Anything that improves the atmosphere is welcome, obviously its gotta be safe and not get the club in bother with the health n safety mushes.

It's great that the club is now open to meet with fans n groups n work together.

Well done Raj n mcguire.

The reaction to the club's letter was over the top, it was polite, informative and clearly written the satisfy the authorities.

But yes, pleasing to see the two sides coming together and working on things. Appears it's under 16s causing chew anyway.

Where is bovverbootbob when you need him

It's just a damn shame the media man can't chill the water, that's what's holding this once great club back.

I sit in the next isle to the NWC lads, the issue is all the young kids following the drum. There never used to be an issue last season, but ever since the kids started following the drum it's got out of hand. The atmosphere with the drum and the singing is brilliant and long may that continue, but all the kids are causing the problems by sitting in seats they've not paid for. Also against Harrogate one or 2 of them began throwing stuff about which clearly hit someone. The drum also got damaged which is definitely out of order. My lad hates sitting up there now, where he used to love it. I know the NWC and the club are working hard to sort this. I want the drum to stay and the atmosphere as it was amazing, I just hope a resolution is found soon and we can get back to normal business.

The club really need to update their Anti-Chew policy, hasn't been updated since the Penguin drama of 2013.

There is a good chance that some of the chew causing youngsters are the offspring of rogue penguins that mated on their way home from that day of havoc. Obviously the climate crisis is getting them radged up as well.

:obscene-moneypiss: :obscene-moneypiss: :obscene-moneypiss: :obscene-moneypiss: :obscene-moneypiss: :obscene-moneypiss: A crazy overreaction decision that has killed the atmosphere.
The players won't be happy about it now the ground has been turned into a library.
Probably. 1% of our fan base will preach its a correct decision.
Howay then let's have it!

I bought a season ticket this year as usual, but never used it once. Not by choice, but by circumstance. However, even after 50 years of every home game, it’s surprising to me how I didn’t miss it as much as I feared I would. Now that is worrying.

How many 'clearouts' do we need before we're finally cleared out and ready to start performing like a decent Conference football club?

Certainly 4 or 5 are due their time to leave but to suggest the full playing staff needs clearing out is absurd. You don't build something properly by having a completely different squad every season because you're not that satisfied with the last one.

Up next after a similarly crap start to the 2020/21 season will be another classic Pools line - 'it's a completely new squad, it needs time to gel, next season it'll be about ready to challenge for the Top 10!'

Cue, ANOTHER CLEAROUT for 2021/22...

Yeah I agree, we aren’t a million miles away from being decent at this level we need add the right players and nearly as importantly the mentality to what we already have not tear it up and start again.

keep thinking we have tiurned the corner but after seeing a few games i realise we just have not. get the urge to be a regular then i just end up missing a couple of months. really cannot see the tunnel never mind the light at its end.

Part time supporter nowadays.
Only been to about 10 games in the last 500 days.
Seen us win 1 of them v Wrexham last season.
Probably a few bunkerites got a worse win ratio than that like.

And good luck to Darlo for rest of season only to get the derbie games back on next season.
