Be interesting to see the reaction if Pools scored and went over to their fans to taunt them.

No. Yeovil coming up for me though.

Don't expect us to win there either.

And that is why we are a mid table, under achieving outfit!

Watching the last five minutes of the results coming in on Sky and felt that at last they’d done the job. Then, the equaliser popped up and rather than losing my temper momentarily, resigned myself as a great weariness and disappointment came over me. It’s pitiful.

Sums it up Snowy. It's like you sit and just wait for the inevitable to happen.

Don’t think we are under achieving we are a mid table average side little different from last season. The table doesn’t lie.
You can’t make a silk purse out of !!!!
I do have confidence in Challoner if he is given a decent budget.

He a Tait MK2 wonderful draw expert.
I don't like the guy, never have done even when he was manager at Fylde.

I will support Pools no matter what, I'll be going to games and supporting the club, owed & players. I won't be shouting his name from the stands.

Why was Kabamba subbed for Cunningham? Was he injured? From afar it seems to be asking for trouble having no one up front?

The Pools team that took the field were all in good shape as befits full time professionals whereas Dover, despite being a full time club had four or five beefcakes, befitting a part-time outfit.
We were quicker and more skillful in the first half and well worth the one goal lead. However we appeared to just hang on to a one goal lead in the second half and let Dover play.
I admit that my knowledge of football tactics stopped when the traditional 1,2,3,5 setup was abandonned but I am convinced that we would be higher up the league if the game plan was to attack in both halves and only sit on three goal leads. The Ebbsfleet game showed that two is not enough!
