I can’t see it being a classic I saw on Look North last night that they are for forecasting 60 mph wind

Any sort of a win will do, we're too close to the bottom four for my liking. Scrappy 2-1 to us. 2417 in attendance.

Completely agree. The disappointing festive series has made me look nervously at the foot of the table.

Yet the frustrating thing is a couple of wins and we're right back in the mix. The middle of the table is still quite tight. Sadly we just don't seem to be capable of putting a genuinely good run together at the moment.

I'm having a bet on a 20-20 draw. £20 at odds of 202020-1.

To be fair every passing second will never happen again so it’s fair point and that won’t happen again until the same time tomorrow.

I’m excited.

Didn't sound like a classic but a decent result is a decent result.

Deserved the points, eastleigh just the norm 11 behind the ball and waste as much time as possible.

Good job Challinor sent Anderson out on loan to get fit.

Usual social media morons slated him for it.

First half was dull and predictable from pools and eastleigh had no interest in trying to play. 2nd half much better in terms of moving the ball a bit quicker, they were there for the taking from lick off, worst side I've seen this season by a country mile and we still managed to let them score,a good finish I admit but so soon after we scored showed up our usual frailties. Fair play to them for not letting their heads drop though and we scored a really good, well worked goal. Think mafuta should have sealed it after great work by Donaldson but i will take any win at the moment. There were a few decent performances, Donaldson, featherstone and holohan in particular, holohan must have a great goals to mins played ratio for a midfield player, one of the 1st names on the team sheet for me. We are still lacking up front and at the back so hopefully we see a few incoming players before Saturday.

He got 360 minutes under his belt which he wouldn't have got here?

Loaning players out also gives them access to cold drinks and plenty of change - they come back happy footballers who are at peace with their inner-selves.

I was disappointed that apart from featherstone effort which hit the roof of the stand, our two first half efforts on target were in the 44 and 45 minutes. We had a strong wind behind us yet we still don’t have the confidence to pepper opposition goal. I honestly thought that Eastleigh were intent to just sit back behind the ball and defend in the first half then come out in the second and do what I thought we should have done in the first, take advantage of the conditions and batter us with shots from distance. It worked out well in the end but we should take advantage of conditions like last night

For a big keeper I don’t think Beeney dominates his area enough. Seemed to be lots of indecision between keeper and defenders

why was there need to arrange this game just after the new year anyway. all those games played over a short period and imagine fans as well as players needed a break.
