We take the lead in first 10 minutes.
Throw everything at them.
Can't get that second goal.

Second half, we pitch our tents and fall asleep.

87 Barrow equalise
90 Barrow take lead

We throw everything, hit post, crossbar and then they keeper saves it. Kicks it up field.

90+4....1-3... Infront of 3314 (114)

We live to fight another day :violin:

It sounds as if we conceded two rottenly soft goals again, and again that’s cost us points. If you have to score three or four to win you won’t win enough games it’s quite simple we are kings of the Desmond Tutu, at least today’s didn’t involve a 2-0 lead or comeback.

Killip starting to make a few mistakes again, like the start of the season.. He needs to kick the defence up the backside HARD & DEEP!

Can only imagine Dimi and Beeney are not showing much.

Kerr managed to completely misread the long ball and went straight to the scorer, he also got on the wrong side of a few balls in the box, liability.

We played decent football and got stuck in, that Shelton is a player, he was everywhere, Feather decent again and looked better at back without Kitching, Holohan offers more than Mafuta and despite Donaldson scoring he didn`t do much.

He's got to sort that defence out or is it we are relying too much on our defenders getting forward supporting a lack lustre attack, thus leaving us vulnerable to the counter attack.
I wish we had a predator like Boyd, Porter or Allon.
I could go back further but most on here will recognise those three.

Missed the first as I was buying (another) hotdog for the little girl, but the second was indeed well soft (the goal not the hotdog). Complete misjudgement of a floated cross by Kerr. He looked shaky all game.

We came back twice, so that's an unexpected bonus.

The first half was dire with no shots on target from Pools and they should have scored a couple. Second half we were the better team for the first half hour, then they came into it. Featherstone was the pick of the midfield - his decision making is a cut above the players around him.

Barrow played nice football, looked for spaces, played out from the back. Keeper nearly always gave it directly to the centre half to carry or distribute. Overall 2-2 was a pretty fair result, IMHO.

he,s a liability along with killip. felt more like a win than just gaining a point. at least pools played to score their goals unlike barrow. felt sorry for the lads in the second half and challinor as well. played well apart from uninforced errors again. bloody stockport are 5th and have lost one game more than pools. hope something can be done in january with another keeper and centre half a big must.

kitching is fine going forward though he does lack a bit in defending. can say that about a lot of full backs in todays game. does help however if he got a bit of help and cover.

Until Kerrs fuck up we looked quite solid, Kioso was decent at left back, Richardson is quick so covers up a few frailties and Liddle in the middle is assured, Kerr looks nervy and has trouble reading the game.

yes, but its always going to happen. if not killip then its someone else who makes an unforced error. at least barrow fans cannot moan about their defence as they could not have done much with the pools goals.

I'm certain you would have found a way to moan if we had conceded them.

no i would not. just use my eyes and brain. felt sorry for the players who put a real shift in and they deserved to get winning bonus on the display they gave. everyone makes mistakes but some make more than others.
