Obviously a big fan after taking the eldest to see them last week but the form they are in is ridiculous.

They have won 26 out of the last 27 League games drawing the other and have lost 1 of the last 57.

Decent going that!

Is the Premier League that good though I watched a Mexican and Brazilian team give them proper games last week. They are hammering 2nd top of our League.

More entertaining team to watch than Man City as well. 0Van Dijk is clearly key to the team, if he was at Man City I'd back them to clear up with the attacking players they have.

Footballers do part time hours for decent to superb wages.
Tiredness shud never be used in the same sentence as professional footballer.
The amount of whingeing Klopp does about fixture congestion is unreal and that's when his team are European champions n 2020 premier league champs elect.

They only need to win 15 out of 20 remaining matches to win the title, and that would only need to be done if Leicester or Man City won ALL of their remaining games.

It nearly as bad as people trotting out tired cliches like this.

It elite sport you can’t compare it to a normal job. Players who play at that level these days are top athletes. It’s not about tiredness but games are decided by fine margins and if a team or player is fatigued either physically or mentally they are going to be a bit off their top level.

Also managers like Klopp who are exceptional man managers (he appears to be one of the best ever on that score his players seem to love him) often say stuff to draw attention to them and take pressure off the players. Alex Ferguson was a master when it came to that. Create a bit of injustice around your squad, go and prove the doubters wrong. Plus Klopp has a point really in other countries they look after the clubs representing them and doing well in European and World tournaments. Our insular attitude is that the League Cup should be more important.

Behave

Play a 90 minute football match at the intensity level they do, try and train like they do every day and see if you feel tired or not.

TAA was insanely good yesterday. Never seen a right back as good and creative as him in the final third.

I'd suggest that their version of 'tired' isnt what we consider 'tired' but something much more scientific.

Tiredness is world War veterans getting no sleep in the trenches or workers grafting like fcuk all week to be able to support their teams.
Tony Pulis regularly mentioned how lucky professional footballers are not to be living in the real world.
And Ronnie Moores shelf stacking at asda/morrisons comes to mind.

Anyway time for me ab exercises then 3 mile walk n 10 mile bike ride.
Fuck off type2 diabetes ya not taking me down.

Tiredness sctatchinghead

What a hero.

The best thing is not once has Klopp mentioned tiredness apart from when he said his players were not tired from all the quotes I’ve seen.

The funny thing is you're laughing at yourself being left behind.

The margins are so tight nowadays that playing 2 or 3 players who are fatigued is the difference between winning and not.

Yes these players can play, usually without issue for a full 90 minutes, however they're more likely to lose a runner or not be able to react quite as quick in different situations.

Sports science is huge now.

The ironing is the comments from people saying footballers shouldn’t be tired are usually made from very overweight middle aged men who couldn’t run for a bus.

I’ve heard a whisper that Mo Salah is a doubt for today’s game with type 2 diabetes and Trent Alexander-Arnold is suffering with gout. The soft twats.

But can string a sentence together and have a car, so don`t need to run for a bus, but in their day played 3 games a week and without a GPS on their back, a sports scientist and fanny powder puff tackles, games gone to shit but don`t let that stop you defending it!

The game has never been more popular or successful on just about every single level than it is now it’s not gone to shit it’s just changed.

You used to have top level players in England going out and getting pissed three and four times a week live that type of lifestyle now and you playing nowhere near that sort of level.

Again that’s absolute tripe. You need to get out of the bubble of what’s happening in the UK. Plus even that is nothing to do with the vast majority of people who go to football in our country.

It’s enormous all over the World, it’s popular with everyone, every colour, every religion every gender. The Premier League is so commercially viable because they have sold it to everywhere else. The game has never been in a better state globally or in a stronger position.

The 1980’s weren’t that long ago when the game really was in trouble.

I love how you are so in touch with what is happening in our country!
Watch match of the day when a team scores away from home the hatred of the home fans, as if somebody had just raped and pillaged their home, look at the faces of them, over 50 or under 20.
I suppose you have to take in location, it may be different in Norfolk but big city games the coin throwing, drink induced hatred is clear to see.

Maybe my TV needs updating to the new blue sky palm tree covered avenues you see on yours!
