Spotted that once more Macc are being threatened with strike action and winding up petitions. The BBC article mentions that Sol Campbell is claiming £180,000 . He was appointed in November 2018 and left in August by mutual consent. That would seem to be a huge amount given the size of the club. Admittedly he gets the credit for keeping them in the league but that would seem a large amount (to me, at least). Of course, the issue is actually being paid it rather than being promised it...

It does seem a lot it wouldn’t surprise me if he had a big bonus in his contract for keeping them in the League given the position he inherited.

But you often see with chancers with no money that they don’t mind dishing out big contracts when it doesn’t belong to them. Our squad was quite big when Coxall was involved leaving us with a crippling wage bill when the clubs money ran out.

I agree PJ.
Some people are masters at spending other people's money.......and then it runs out.

Macclesfield v Crewe called off by the EFL due to Macclesfield's bustness.
We should soon end up back in the football league if more go the way of Bury.
When will there be a football regulator?

I really don’t give a toss about Macclesfield. I’ve got the age where I don’t think of them as a proper league team anyway. So there!

What about Peterborough, Oxford, Wigan, Wimbledon, fake Wimbledon?

Crawley and Stevenage are "new towns" (created in the 50s). They are still at the start of their history, both on and off the pitch.

If you win games and get points you are a league team.
Being shit but old doesn't justify being in the league.
That's the same argument many of the Premiership clubs use for a closed shop.

YES....we know that and we agree, but you can still think what you like.
